ハーラウ・オ・ナー・プア・ククイ主宰。

クムフラ  ヘンリー・モイケハ・パーに師事し、伝統的な古典フラを継承するとともに自らのフラをクリエイトする指導者となった。

オアフ島の名門私立校イオラニ・スクールで長年フラやハワイ文化を教えていたが、引退後もハーラウの指導に留まらず、競技会審査員やイベントのゲスト・講師に招かれ、世界各地を忙しく飛び回っている。

フラ指導歴５０年以上となる現在もエネルギッシュで、温厚かつ気さくな人柄から国内外にたくさんのファンを持つ。

Kumu Hula Ed Collier

He was born in Honolulu, 1940 and he has been teaching hula for over 50 years and is the kumu hula of Halau O Na Pua Kukui located in Kalihi, Honolulu.

He first started to teach children hula in the 1960’s at St. John’s Church in Kalihi. 
Afterward he studied with Henry  Mo'ikeha Pa  for about 4 years, and was trained strictly to be a kumu hula, to creates his own hula.

He has done many shows in Waikiki as a professional dancer.Age 42 to 65,he taught hula and Hawaiian culture at 'Iolani School, aprestigious private school on ‘Oahu.

After his retirement from 'Iolani School, he continues to teach both his halau and is often in Japan,judging competitions,performing in shows,and teaching hula where he shares his aloha.

His knowledge of the hula is held steadfast by those he teaches.His smile and personality is unforgettable.
